Slick, creamy, substantial.
From Northern Italy's Friuli, this Attem Pinot Gris was fermented in both stainless and wood vats and aged on lees for four months before bottling.
Candle wax and warm pears, yellow apples, wet stone and lemongrass aromas lead to a fresh palate. Flavours of mountain stream and citrus flavours roll across the tongue. It is slick, almost unctuous, with distinct creamy/bread dough flavours from the lees contact. A substantial and well constructed Pinot Grigio.
