Zesty, muscular, earthy.
A blend of Rhone varieties Roussanne (69%) with Marsanne (31%), this southern France blend was lees stirred and aged four months in partially new French oak with lees stirring.
Wild herbs and lemon, smoke. flint, oregano, honeysuckle and vague peachy notes are expressed on the nose. It has a powerful--white that drinks like a red--character and zesty muscular tone. Earthy, savoury, spicy and mineral-driven it also has distinct salty notes and a pomelo and lemongrass finish.
This is a wine that really benefits from opening an hour or more before serving or decanting.
