Supple, value, succulent.
This wine has offered great value at under $20 for many, many years. It is made from bush vines grown on calcareous soil vineyards resting between 700 and 1000 meters above sea level in Alamansa, Spain and is a blend of Garnacha Tintorera (aka Alicante Bouschet) and Monastrell (aka Mourvedre).
Expect cherry, raspberry and black plums, leather, toasted spice oak and liquorice aromas. Supple and fresh with berry, wild herbs, espresso and dark chocolate flavours, it also has some grip and a charred oak finish.
Pair: Slow roasted or grilled meats, hearty Spanish stews or aged crumbly cheeses.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper
Rich Meats , Barbeque, Cheese - Semi Hard / Medium , GONE CRACKERS
