Outstanding, pristine, juicy.
Lunessence is a sustainable estate winery located in Summerland and this single vineyard Blanc de Noirs is a blend of 81% Syrah with Merlot, which was partially barrel fermented (35%) in neutral French oak, then aged in a mix of French oak and stainless steel on lees for five months.
It has a pearlescent pink hue and aromas of apple blossoms, honeysuckle, bitter orange, strawberry and rhubarb are layered with mountain stream and faint cedary notes. The palate is dry, pristine, and sleek with a lovely mouthwatering brightness and flavours of tangy orange and red berries with earthy undertones.
Outstanding.
