Consistent, juicy, savoury.
Capitalizing on the notable "coffee" aromas and flavours commonly associated with Pinotage, The Grinder hits it out of the ballpark with this fun, quirky label.
It is a consistent libation--expect sweet purple and red berries, vanilla, licorice, baking spices and coffee mocha. The palate echos the nose with sweet red and purple fruit, peppery spices and a smidge of concord grape flavours. Medium-bodied, it has a warm finish that trails tobacco and coffee flavours.
Pair: grilled meats, smoked pork or hearty mole chili.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Canadian Chedder & Chive
