Pristine, juicy, mouthwatering.
Bartier Bros' new Pristine label is a series of wines made by Michael Bartier in the Okanagan Valley, from grapes grown in Washington State.
This "patio pounder" is made from Cabernet Sauvignon (94%) with splashes of Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay.
It is a coppery-salmon-hued wine with notes of peach skin and wild berries, tealeaf and wild herbs, blood orange flecked with spice. Juicy and pristine (as the name suggests) it delivers flavours of cranberry, pomegranate and orange zest. Nice structure makes it a great food wine too; it also has a long mouthwatering finish.
