Finesse, elegant, delicate.
Le Rughe was established in the 1960s in Gaiarine, in the province of Treviso, and today makes wine from grapes from the DOCG Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene as well as across the ridge from those famous Prosecco vines, in Cor. Cor is a much cooler climate and Le Rughe, where in addition to the classic Glera DOC, Moscato, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco (in organic conversion) is rooted with resistant varieties such as: Solaris, a white berry with explosive aroma, Aromera, and Johannitter (a magical crossing of Riesling varieties).
This is not your standard Prosecco, the bead is smaller and it has a straw colour along with aromas of apple skin, lemongrass, acacia, talcum, orange segments and a whiff of basil. Juicy and pristine it has a delicate character with lovely fruit expression. Expect complexity and elegance with a good dose of finesse.
