Seductive, generous, elegant.
An Amarone with levity, the Lena di Mezzo is an outstanding version with seductive aromas of sweet spices and dried cherries, cedar chips and licorice and mocha atop an earthy core. It is supple with generous fruit; finesse and elegance are not often associated with Amarone, but this one is. Not overly boozy (15%--it's all relative) it has a fresh and delicate side and a long spiced mocha finish.
