Elegant, classic, silky.
The Gran Selezione tier is the highest level of Chianti Classico wines. This one, from Ricasoli is outstanding; cherry and dried rose petals, strawberries drizzled with balsamico, pink peppercorns, salted licorice, cedar chips, chocolate and soy sauce aromas lead to a silky palate. Elegant and classic, expect woven red fruit, earth, leather and tealeaf flavours--the tannins are sooty.
