The Corbeau Wines winery and vineyards are located east of Mendoza city and are owned by the RodrÃguez Family, now in their third generation of agriculture and winemaking. They have over 874 acres of vineyards that include Las Bayas, Los Alomos, and Has. Their wines are produced with estate grapes from multiple vineyards with different soils, climates, and varieties. The Mad Bird label pays homage to the mysterious Black Raven, a long recognized companion of mankind, but also a symbol of wit, strength and freedom.
Made entirely from Malbec that was aged in barrel for three months and then in bottle for six before release.
Fragrant purple flowers and black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, licorice, baking spice and mocha aromas lead to a plush fleshy palate. It's a modern wine with oodles of black cherry, vanilla and mocha with a pronounced chocolaty finish. Approachable and tasty.
