Inky, harmonious, polished.
Naramata Bench's lauded Poplar Grove produces this proprietary blend of 47% Cabernet, 23% Syrah and 30% Merlot, which was harvested from Penticton and Osoyoos. It was aged in French oak for 21 months before an additional 12 months in bottle prior to release.
It has an inky nose with notes of chocolate and dried cherry, vanilla, baking spices, leather, pencil shavings, sage, ribena and menthol. The palate is smooth and fresh with polished tannins. It's harmonious with notable structure and balance and flavours of coffee, spice and tobacco.
