Savoury, earthy, spiced. Harvested from Dona Paula's estate in Gualtallary (at 1,350 meters [almost 4,430 ft] above sea level) the Uco Valley's Tupungato, it's a terroir with cool climate and mineral, rocky soils.
It's a savoury vintage with notes of smoked meat and leather, red berry and wild herbs, grilled green bell pepper and vanilla aromas. The palate is bright and quite toasty and has distinct tobacco/cigar flavours along with spice and earth.
A perfect weekday red with structure to hold up to hard cheeses, roasted mushrooms or grilled meats.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
