WineDiva's Review

Fragrant, bright, classic.
This organic Sangiovese (with 10% Colorino and Canaiolo) grown in San Fabiano suggests fragrant notes of strawberries, dried rose petals and cedar chips, tobacco, star anise and tangerine peel. It has a juicy and smooth entry, then grows textural mid-palate with flavours to mimic the nose. Balanced and bright it trails cocoa, tealeaf and spice and has classic sooty tannins.
Drinking well now, but cellaring for another 5+ years is also an option.

Rich Meats , Cheese - Hard/Aged, Good First Impressions, Cellar Keepers, Italian Food, Tomatoes and Tomato Sauces
