Made from grapes (Merlot, Cab Franc, Cab Sauv, Malbec) grown in the southern Okanagan then aged 11 months in French Oak, this blend delivers wild berries and toasted spice, wild sage and cocoa and hints of bell pepper on the nose. Good overall freshness here--it has a brooding character with restrained dark fruit, spices, roasted herbs, leather, cocoa and tealeaf flavours. It's rustic character will suit hearty stews, grilled proteins and roasted mushrooms.
