WineDiva's Review

Supple, spicy, earthy.
This southern Italian red varietal is one of Puglia's most important grapes; It is an early ripening variety grown almost exclusively in Puglia. It's also genetically linked to California's stalwart, Zinfandel.
Cherry twizzler and vanilla, vibrant black raspberry and brown sugar are underscored by clove and cinnamon. The entry is supple, it's spicy and earthy with pipe tobacco and dark cocoa flavours, which trail across the finish. It has the backbone to partner with stuffed eggplant, pizza, hard cheeses, burgers or your favourite hearty pastas.


Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
