The circus wines are all value-priced and this ruby-hued Pinot is no exception. Szechuan peppercorns and toasted spices, red cherries and forest mushrooms with hints of fleur de sel roll into a classic food-friendly wine. Flavours of tart red fruits, beet greens, rhubarb and tealeaf culminate in a savoury spiced finish. Pair: Grilled mushrooms or mushroom risotto, fatty white meats, salmon, roasted beets.
