Approachable, generous, supple.
A blend of co-fermented 60% Merlot and 40% Cab Franc that spent 18 months in 30% new French oak, the Yard Wine represents the time before Upper Bench, when co-proprietor Gavin Miller made wine from grapes in the Miller's Naramata Bench yard.
It's always an approachable red with fresh berry notes woven with licorice and cola flavours. A supple wine with a pleasing generosity of fruit lashed with mocha and spice flavours that makes it easy to finish the bottle.
