WineDiva's Review

Approachable, spicy, fresh.
Made from Vancouver Island Gamay this fresh little number leads muddled cherry and star anise, vanilla, wild herbs, cola spices and warm chocolate. Slightly textural it has neutral fruit and spice flavours and trails berry tea on the finish; overall it has a very earthy character. A slight chill before serving is suggested.
Pair:sausages, burgers, pizza, medium-firm cheeses and hearty vegetable stews.
