New, savoury, fresh.
The entire Escorihuela 1884 series offers consistency and value.
This new blend in the lineup and it stand up well against the others. Notes of cherries and vanilla, chocolate liqueur and licorice, spice rub and espresso along with savoury dried herbs and a hint of apricot. The palate echoes the nose; expressive and fresh it doles out flavours of red and purple fruits, cocoa and coffee, tobacco and charred herbs. The finish is firm.
It's a wine for dense proteins, such as hard cheeses, grilled mushrooms and roasted meats.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
