fragrant, savoury, spiced. A fragrant nose of purple and red berries, vanilla, baking spice, espresso and cocoa leads to a savoury palate with nice roundness and soft tannins. Mocha, spice, leather and wild berry flavours culminate in a finish with distinct oak notes. Good length and balance; a wine to pair with roasted or grilled meats, hard cheeses, spaghetti Bolognese or hearty mushroom and herb risotto.
