Piquant, zesty, fresh.
This 74% Sauvignon Blanc and 26% Semillon is a classic Bordeaux blend, but with the California name (fume blanc) given to a lightly oaked version of Sauvignon Blanc, a term coined by Robert Mondavi.
Notes of honeycomb and white flowers, lime and grapefruit, fresh mountain stream and undertones of gooseberry and elderflower. It's a zesty wine, juicy and fresh with length and levity and a snappy grapefruity finish.
Pair: oysters and other seafood, white meats, appetizers or cheese platters.
