Fleshy, fragrant, smooth.
The entire Escorihuela 1884 series remains consistent vintage after vintage.
The Syrah is always a favourite in the lineup and it stays true to that in the 2021.
Notes of bay leaf and grilled herbs, spiced rub and white pepper, smoked meat and tea are layered with fresh blackberry, plum and fragrant violets. It's a fleshy wine with notable structure and balance. Purple berries and mocha, pepper and savoury herbal flavours dominate. The finish is fresh.
A solid partner for game meats, roasted wild mushrooms, aged cheeses and cheese fondue.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper
Rich Meats , Barbeque, Cheese - Hard/Aged, Good First Impressions, French Food, GONE CRACKERS
