Elegant, complex, classic.
The top tier range of Chianti Classico, Gran Selezione first made its appearance just over a decade ago.
The complex Il Margone delivers pretty aromas of cedar chips and rose petals, cherry pipe tobacco and baking spices, licorice, balsamic and vague minty undertones. The entry is silky, it's beautifully balanced and elegant. It's a beautiful point in its evolution, showing some maturity but notable freshness. Cellar for another decade if you wish, but I'm loving it right now.
