Charming, lively, fragrant.
For the 2019 vintage, this tasty Spanish blend saw zero oak and comes in the form of Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot and Garnacha, which were grown in Montsant, just southwest of Barcelona.
Notes of raspberry, candied violets, blueberry and vanilla, cold brew coffee and a hint of white pepper perfume the nose. It has a fresh entry and lively purple fruit flavours layered with leather, pipe tobacco and cocoa. A charming red with a bit more structure this year than I recall previously, but still very tasty.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper
Good First Impressions, Cellar Keepers, GONE CRACKERS
