Tart, slick, fresh.
A glistening pale peachy colour (that leans toward those from Provence), this vintage of Road 13s's Rose is a blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay and Syrah grown on the Golden Mile Bench.
The grapes were macerated on skins for 4-6 hours to leaving just a tinge of blush to the juice.
Strawberries and kumquats, sour cherry and wet stone aromas lead to a crisp palate with a slick texture. Dry and racy it snags you with peach stone, apple skin, rhubarb and sour orange flavours. Tart and tangy is has enough guts to stand up to grilled chicken and fish, or serve with summer salads, charcuterie and cheese.
