Value, plush, supple.
This tasty wine is made by Luis Segundo Correas from 70 year old Cabernet vines grown at 850m above sea level in Mendoza.
It has a decadent nose of red licorice and cassis, candied violets, baking spice and pipe tobacco. The palate is just as alluring and modern; kirsch and cassis, vanilla, Turkish coffee and baking spice flavours lounge on a plush and supple palate. It has lovely acidity to keep it fresh, the finish is smooth and persistent. Good value here.
