WineDiva's Review

The Similkameen's original winery, Crowsnest Vineyards is a second generation Heincke family-run estate.
It's been a decade or longer since I've tried their wines and I have to say I was delighted to receive a box of samples to see what's happening with the wine program.
This fizzy salmony-pink blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Auxerrois has some notable umami notes alongside dried berries, crab apples, sour cherry, peach stone and crushed stone aromas. It's an off-dry sparkler with a sort of cherry koolaid flavoured palate.
