WineDiva's Review

Racy, taut, lip-smacking. Located in Summerland, Lunessence (where Luna=Moon + Essence) is a biodynamic estate. There are no pesticides or herbicides used in their vineyards with a focus on natural wines; they ideally use only native yeast, no, or minimal fining (only bentonite and time), and very light or no filtration at all.
One of two new estate single vineyard wines (the other is an Alsatian-inspired white blend) this certified organic Riesling was aged 5 months on lees.
Green apple and honeysuckle, peach stone, lime and wet stone aromas lead to a racy and bone dry palate. It has taut, lip-smacking acidity and plenty of citrus and crunchy tree fruit flavours that follow through on a persistent finish.
