Tangy, zesty, restrained.
I tasted this vintage blend of Gewurztraminer with Riesling, Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat and Pinot Blanc alongside the 2018 version and this one leaned to honeyed with warm peach and apricot aromas woven with mineral/saline and citrus notes. Tangy and zesty, more restrained and lean than the 2018, it had focus and precision, snappy green apple flavours and a long mouthwatering finish.
Pair: pate, strong cheeses, spicy dishes and pork dishes.
