Produced by and bottled at Meyer Family Vineyards, this new venture called Mayhem was developed with a nod to new market opportunities--the wines are obviously for a different market than MFV wines and compliment rather than compete. The line is a combined effort of MFV's Janice Stevens Meyer and Jak Meyer, with family members Terry Meyer Stone and Andrew Stone. Their motto: From chaos and mayhem come opportunities.
The 2019 offers creamed pears and lime, honey, wild mushrooms and field flowers on the nose. It's a dry white with hints of orchard fruits, citrus and notable marzipan flavours; the finish is zesty.
