WineDiva's Review

Textural, muscular, fresh.
This reserve Meritage is Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Muscular notes of dark chocolate and espresso, licorice root, red plums and spice cake, black currants, pipe tobacco and ceda chips dominate the nose. It has a chewiness across the palate with nice brightness and brooding dark fruit, coffee and green oak flavours. The finish is quite charred.
