From Tuscany's Montalcino region this wonderfully woven Sangiovese over-delivers with aromas of cherry licorice, dried roses and vanilla, leather, pipe tobacco and fine peppery spices. It benefits from its maturity; complexity is interlaced with discernible freshness; its flavours are an echo of the nose. Silky and elegant it's truly a classic
