Crowd-pleaser, sweet, exuberant.
Candor refers to the noun, to be frank or honest and that is what the producers of this wine say they strive for.
It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect from an exuberant Lodi Zin; spiced briary berries, chocolate covered cherries, espresso, salted licorice and molasses. It has a supple and sweet fruity palate and plush weight. Full-bodied and generous it weighs in at 14.5% alcohol.
It's s definitive crowd-pleaser that is ended with 11% Merlot, and aged in French and American oak; the grapes come from five AVAs and it offers no vintage.
