Moon Curser is a boutique Osoyoos-based winery is known to produce a unique assortment of varietals rarely seen in the Okanagan Valley. Wines like this 100% Petit Verdot (generally a blending variety), which is inky purple in colour and soles out perfumed aromas of blueberry jam and sun-warmed blackberries, violets and star anise, vanilla liqueur and a dollop of chocolate. It's as intense and potent in the mouth as it is on the nose; ripe purple fruits, cinnamon and toasted oak flavours dominate. It has a slick glycerol weight and a lengthy and muscular finish.
