Impressive, fragrant, seamless.
From the Lazy River vineyard in the Similkameen Valley and the South Rock and Lost Horn vineyards in the Okanagan, Mount Boucherie's reserve tier Merlot was aged in American and French oak for 14 months.
Dark plum and wild black berry aromas are layered with toasted spice, fresh earth and faint cocoa and licorice. It is a retrained wine with flavours to echo the nose; wild berry, plum, coffee, black chocolate, tobacco and spice. Expect a firm but balanced palate with chalky tannins
Pair:BBQ, savoury casseroles, runny brie and game.
