Plush, complex, classic.
The top tier range of Chianti Classico, Gran Selezione first made its appearance just a decade ago.
The complex Il Margone has a plush rich nose of sweet cherry, vanilla liqueur, dried roses and salted licorice with soft chocolaty undertones. It has a salty and sweet character suggesting red berries, paprika and mixed brown spices, dark roast espresso and dark chocolate, which trail across the finish. A classic Sangiovese, with more brightness overall than previous vintage of this wine.
