Fresh, dry, slick.
Naramata Bench's Red Rooster Winery is sporting a new look these days with labels which capture various stages of the winemaking process.
This sur lie Chardonnay was harvested from around Oliver. It was aged on skins (sur lie) and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Lemon and matchstick, yellow apple, quince and hazelnut aromas lead to a slick palate. Fresh citrus peel and pith, and yellow apple flavours dominate. Chablis-like.
Pair with white meats, salads, smoked cheeses and charcuterie.

Barbeque, Cheese - Semi Hard / Medium , Patio Sippers, Seafood/Fish, Girl's Night, White Meat Chicken/Pork, Tomatoes and Tomato Sauces
