Fresh, smooth, savoury.
From one of Stellenbosch's most historic producers Spier, this classic Cabernet offers currents, dusty plums, saddle leather and fresh soil, chocolate, brown spices, coffee and wild herbs. It's medium-bodied and fresh with a smooth texture and mouthfilling flavours of red berries, spice and chocolate bitters. Nicely integrated tannins and a whisper of oak make this a wine to partner with BBQ, rich stews and soups, hard cheeses, lentil or bean dishes and roasted mushrooms.
