WineDiva's Review

Savoury, toasted. smooth.
This Syrah (with 3% Viognier) was hand-harvested from the Blind Creek Vineyard and aged 15 months in French oak barrels to mature.
Notes of red plum and blackberry are dusted with dark cocoa and layered with bacon fat, wild brush, leather and pepper. It has a supple entry and flavours of charred plum, toasted spice, espresso, black chocolate and tobacco with salted meat and white pepper trailing on the finish. Very savoury, quite smooth and nice freshness.
