This organic and vegan Roussanne was harvested from the estate's Coyote Block (planted in 2009) and was naturally barrel fermented and aged 9 months.
It has a rich golden hue and notes of toasted hazelnut and lanolin, beeswax, yellow apples, star fruit and lemon curd. The palate is quite fleshy and has a creamy edge with flavours of golden fruits, charred nuts, salted preserved lemon and a zesty finish. It's vaguely reminiscent of a fino en rama sherry.
Very unique, a wine for food; think oily fish, white meats and soft cheeses.
