The Similkameen's original winery, Crowsnest Vineyards is a second generation Heincke family-run estate.
It's been a decade or longer since I've tried their wines and I have to say I was delighted to receive a box of samples to see what's happening with the wine program.
This fizzy blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Auxerrois and Riesling its has leesy undertones as well as orchard fruits, creamed lemons, wild honey, floral talc and toast. The palate has a delicate fizz, is ripe and has a creamy stonefruit nectar quality with a zesty finish.
