Supple, juicy, classic.
Play Estate is located outside of Penticton on Skaha Hills Drive and boasts some outstanding views from the winery and bistro.
This Merlot, a classic, was aged in French oak for 16 months. It delivers plummy aromas tossed with cinnamon, clove and star anise along with tobacco leaf, shaved dark chocolate and a hint of black cherry liqueur. The palate entry is supple with juicy wild red berry flavours. Good levity overall, the tannins have some chew and the finish lingers with cedar dust and toasted spice.
