Juicy, tangy, dry.
I look forward to reviewing this rose each vintage and the 2021 is as fresh as always. Salmon-hued it suggests sour cherry, crab apples, charred orange peel, rhubarb, cedar, peach fuzz and faint spice. Like the nose, the palate is juicy and dry with tangy red fruits and smoky undertones. It has a pleasing slick texture and mouthwatering finish.
A pretty wine, a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir with four hours of skin contact. It's ready to pour alongside anything from salads and cheese to thin-crust pizza, salmon and pork or mushroom ravioli.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Blue Cheese & Cracked Pepper
