Savoury, smoky, concentrated.
Grown in Altamira, in the Uco Valley on sandy loam with a stony undersoils, this high altitude Malbec was aged 10 months in 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels then three more months in bottle before release.
Expect grilled plums and smoked paprika, star anise and chocolate, fresh black berries, espresso and violets on the nose. It's concentrated and has distinct salinity; it's smoky and savoury with bold black chocolate and espresso on the finish.
