Made from Negramaro, this delightful rose-gold and watermelon hued pink wine comes from Italy's Tormaresca Winery. Tormaresca is located in Puglia and is owned by Marchesi Antinori.
The nose is wonderfully floral--think wildflowers and orange blossoms--along with sea salt, peach stone and small red berries. It has a fruity and earthy character and the entry teases with a kiss of sweetness. Lovely precision and purity, it is juicy with flavours of grapefruit and blood oranges. The finish is lively and mouthwatering. Absolutley delicious.
Pantone and Tormaresa have partnered to name this unique peachy-pink drink's hue, Califuria.
