Right bank, left bank. This Cotes~du~Rhone red blends Cinsault, Mourvedre, Syrah and Grenache to come up with this tasty number. Produced by Vignerons d'Estezargues, which claims to be a group of ten vignerons sharing a winery in the Rhone - a co-operative.
It's wonderfully consistent; rich plummy aromas co-mingle with cherry twizzlers, baking spices, vanilla and mocha. The palate is fruit-forward and generous. It offers candied violets, expressive cherry notes, sarsaparilla and espresso.
