Jammy, fresh, spicy.
This estate grown, limited release Merlot was matured 21-months in French oak barrels (partially new).
This vintage shows jammy notes of ripe plums and cherries along with vanilla, licorice, and cola spices. The palate echoes its nose with cherry, licorice, vanilla, mocha and almond paste flavours. Some oak spice shows through the fruit, the tannins ate textural; it is a fresh, spicy and modern wine.
