Racy, crunchy, precise
O'Rourke's Peak Cellars is owned by Edmonton businessman Dennis O'Rourke who maintains a 300-acre property of vineyards and orchards called Carrs Landing, and 7-acres around the Peak Cellars Winery in Lake Country; in total, 110-acres of estate vines.
Riesling certainly has a firm grasp on Riesling. This 2020 doles out peach nectar and crunchy green apples, lemon drops and honeysuckle aromas. It has a racy palate with lemon-lime and Granny Smith apple flavours. Precise, dry and lip-smacking.
