This classic Pinot Gris is hand harvested from chalky-clay and limestone soils in the AOC Alsace. It was aged on fine less for four months before an additional 5 months in vats prior to bottling. Warm creamed pears, chamomile tea, lime, pink grapefruit and honey aromas are grounded with notes of smoked cremini mushrooms.
It's off-dry with a lovely weight and slick texture; it has wonderful fruit expression and spot-on acidity for balance.
Pair: Munster Cheese with fennel seeds, salmon, mushroom wellington, flavourful Asian dishes or holiday ham or turkey.
