Pretty, harmonious, supple.
Septima means seven which is a nod to the fact that Septima is Groupo Codorniu~Raventos' (of Spain) seventh winery.
Located in the golden region of Luyan de Cuyon in Agrelo, Septima rests at 1050 MASL. Aged six months in predominantly stainless steel; only 15% aged in French and American oak.
It's a pretty wine offering violets and black raspberry, cherry, vanilla, licorice, espresso, brown spices and chocolate aromas. The entry is fresh; high-toned fruit and mocha flavours mimic the nose. Supple and concentrated, this is a stylish and harmonious Malbec hitting above its weight.
